The Headstart workshops are back!
My credentials: I achieved a study score of 50 in Psychology in 2010, and was also awarded a Premiers' Award for my success.
I ran these workshops for over 30 students last year, and I have had 6 students in the past 2 years who have achieved a perfect score of 50, 3 students who have scored 48-49, as well as many other students who have scored in the 40's .
My aim for the session is to teach you HOW to answer short-answer questions in the exam, as well as how to study throughout the year. Psychology is not a difficult subject, everyone and anyone can understand the content, so the only way to distinguish yourself from others is HOW you answer the questions. VCE examiners are very pedantic with how you answer the question, and it is the case that many people study hard, but do not have the proper method of answering questions which lets them down in the exam.
You can view my ad from last year, and some responses from people who have attended on this following link:
Psychology Headstart Lecture.I will also provide a free booklet for you to keep from the session outlining what I say within my workshop. The workshop will cost $30 and will run at State Library (location negotiable) for roughly 60-90 minutes, and I'm open to answer any questions regarding VCE and study techniques as well as tips for other subjects and the UMAT etc. at the end too.
