Really good essay. Intro was excellent. You might want to consider mentioning Julie in the second paragraph as being in Cosi Fan Tutte was an escape from being in the ward and she actually liked doing it.. there are some good quotes to back that up. Overall, your points are good but the one thing I'm going to question is that did Ruth really stop being obsessive? Because it turns out her obsessiveness becomes an asset that leads to a career (Time and motion expert) ..
