What do teacher's do with the doctor's certificate we hand them if we have missed a SAC? Do they send it to VCAA or use for something really really important or do they just throw it away once they have seen it? I missed one SAC, and I have shown my teacher my doctor's certificate though she asked me whether I had made a copy and I said no and she let me take it home to photocopy. Though now I have seem to have missed placed it and it's been a week since she asked me about it and since then she has not seemed slightly interested by it. What should I do? Should I bother go to the doctor's again to get another? I'm really lazy and can't be bothered. Is it imperative that I give her my doctor's certificate? Am I jeopardising a small portion of my SAC marks from not doing so?
edit: I have also done the SAC.

Certificates are internal, they'll get filed away in your co ordinators drawer or thrown away, I wouldnt take it too seriously, I've had so many days off sacs and teachers didnt even ask for one.
Why did she ask you to photocopy it?

You probably don't need to worry about it.
Ordinarily you probably do need to take them seriously, just in case. The school can phone up the doctor, etc.
