Skipping Classes

Who here actually skips classes because the teacher 'sucks' and would prefer to learn the material themselves? Are you actually doing something productive in that time and is it worth it? What subjects would this be suitable for?

I for one have crap teachers in the following: Legal, Chemistry, Biology. Thinking of skipping them every now and then, all I do is bludge in those classes anyway..

Little math challenge: How many hours can you skip in a school term in order to achieve 90% attendance? I cbf calculating  :D

Whenever i have days with only 2 or 3 classes, i might stay at home and self study. Saves the travel time as well.

Honestly, i have a much better methods tutor than i used to. He teaches me all the material and i go off and do the work.

I do my methods work in class and i don't listen to the teacher at all anymore.. really no need.
I've often thought lately i'd be much better off if i just didn't have the class in my timetable and just free periods to do my work in.. but theres not much i can do about that.

I have no need for my teacher at all.

I have to show up though because i've apparently missed like 8 periods of methods and if i miss something like 12 they dont want to pass me.

answer to your question, with my timetable i can skip one lesson of each class every fortnight if i wanna stay above 90% but i go on the theory that if you haven't got a rediculously low attendance like 50% or lower then they don't care that much.

And yeah, i skip classes sometimes but i never do work when i do... our school is next to a shopping center so that become my first port of call whenever i skip class.

I've skipped just over 50% of further classes and roughly 10% of methods.

Furhter is just rubbish imo, it's so easy that sitting there in class is just frustrating! haha, so i don' t really go><
