Dropping unit 2 at this stage?

I know its a bit late, and despite heaps of people telling me not to, I ended up dropping methods for year 12 (and taking it up in uni instead), and I'm doing unit 2 methods atm, I was contemplating dropping it and use the time and effort to focus on my other 3&4 instead.

Is this advisable? Do universities take into account the dropping of subjects into account when selecting their students? And does anyone know the official cut off date when you can pull out of a unit 2 (or unit 4) subject?

Universities only take into account your ATAR and prerequisities required for the course (if any). They don't care about any subjects you've dropped.

Not sure about the pull out dates, I guess its up to the school. I know VCAA don't care about dropping and picking up subjects because I know someone who picked up bio 3/4 mid-way into term 2.

Not sure on that one... my mate tried to pull out of Unit 3 systems i think it was... but since it was past the date where he handed in some VCAA form where you have to look over your personal details (including your subjects) and correct them if there were any errors (so in this case he could just cross out systems) he couldn't really officially pull out. He could stop showing up to classes and all that but apparently it would be recorded as a fail.

I really do not want to do GMA anymore (not considering spesh 3/4) mainly because of a crappy teacher :\
However there's basically 1 term left to go so I might as well just finish it off but gaah... my motivation is down the drain but I have to at least keep it up >.<

but it really does taint my beautiful line-up of A~A+'s in all my other subjects with its shocking range of B~D's :(
I hope when I send in my report to Monash for MUEP they'd not look too deep into my crappy GMA results lol
Welcome Furbob. :)
A dark and twisted part of me want to see you and Fyrefly fight it out.

[I am drunk though, please disregard anything I say.]
