This is what I got:

Humanities/arts/social sciences- 50 (33/35)

Written Communication- 49 (37:/40)

Maths/Sci/Technology- 44 (32/35... I always make careless mistakes!)

Quite strange, considering my study scores... if only I could have had my humanities results for English Language! Perhaps next year in English? The GAT's a bit strange though... I applied for a derived score for my midyear physics exam due to personal trauma, but I found it hardest to pay attention in the GAT! And somehow my results are better...

Man I thought I got owned, but I was looking at raw scores.  Standardized scores still aren't very desirable.

Written Communication: 27
Maths/Science/Technology: 39
Humanities/Arts/Social Sciences: 36

Gosh I hope this isn't a sign of things to come as far as English goes next year. :(

Meh, I got 33 in the Written Communication of the GAT in yr11, and then got a 50 in English in yr12. It's not particularly indicative of your probable score ;)

Thanks humph.  I feel a little less dejected, but man am I going to have to work hard next next year in English/EL just to get 40+.

I got 50, 42, 50.
It beats me why people keep saying they didn't bother to try at all in the GAT. We're all only one car crash/bereavement/serious illness away from having the GAT used to decide our exam score. Not trying seems like a risky strategy.

Wow, that's fairly pro! I agree that everyone should try, though not everyone thinks straight while they're doing the GAT. I for one thought it was only 2 hours long and so spent the last hour doing pretty much nothing. =P

I know for me I knew I had to take it seriously for my derived score (which wasn't used), but it's hard to concentrate when you have to drive to a family member's funeral straight afterwards.

But yeah, many people feel like relaxing after midyears.

appianway, I'm so sorry for your loss. I think it says a lot about you that even at the worst possible time you were still able to show up and attempt an exam. You do highlight a problem with the GAT though. If the GAT is used when something awful happens around exam times, what can people do if something awful happens just before the GAT?
