That's true. Regular excercise books are sooo cheap this time of year. I got a packet of 10 64 page half-sized exercise books from Big W for 10 cents!

That is the main problem with loose leaf, you'll lose it.

Exactly - I decided to try out loose leaf for inter studies last year and ended up losing about half of my notes .... panic!

Yeh if you wanna use loose leaf you need to be organised and have it in a folder and pretty much not take it out because unless you are extremely organised and always put it straight back it is likely you can misplace it

Does anybody take notes in Uni Lectures straight onto a laptop? Like, in the lecture hall?

actually i find myself liking microsoft for once, word 2007 works like a charm with all the 1-click-applied styles... organisation is no longer a pain in the ass...
which makes my typing on MS word > writing on paper, except it's useless in maths with all its notations and shizniz...

and hth does ppl go on facebook in lectures?? does the unis have free wireless network?! (or they're rich bastards and pay for their own wi-fi??)

i presume a lot of the major unis would provide that, surely? it's hardly that big a deal. i get free wireless from ANU in my bedroom at college...
