WHY DID I CONTINUE CHEMISTRY

Amen to that haha
uoiea, I was feeling the same way a couple of days ago. But then I actually started doing some work as in started reading the textbook and made my own notes. Now although its still hard it is not as impossible I thought when we started. Maybe try this...hopefully it helps you! If not, go to the learning centre between 1-2pm. It's reallyy helpful!
Good Luck!  :)

Doing Foundation Physics. The last time I discussed Physics prior to that was one session in Year 9 Science.
Same with Bio, except a term. This was always going to go down really well.

2013-2014:| VCE
2015-2018:| Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) @ UoM
2019-X:| Doctor of Dental Surgery (discontinued)
2019 -2021:| Master of Physiotherapy

Currently: Physiotherapist working at a musculoskeletal clinic. Back pain, sore neck, headaches or any other pain limiting your study? Give me a PM (although please do see your personal health professional first!)

Any questions related to pathways towards studying dentistry or physiotherapy? Gimmi a PM!

Haha wow, sounds tough Rod. The only english I have to do is in the form of practical reports for my engineering core units, not gonna be fun.

One of my units (ENG1003) is so tough, they are teaching us how to code mobile apps, but they're running through it so fast it's so hard to actually get stuff working without bugs and errors. Can't even get a simple timer working...
vce:
2013: Further [50] (+Premier's) | Methods [48]
2014: Physics [50] | Specialist | Accounting | English Language || ATAR: 99.70 + Australian Student Prize!
uni:
2015: Bachelor of Commerce and Engineering (Honours)

Me on the other hand; I have to read each week stupid judgments by judges from the 1900s who decide to make things complicated by never putting in a comma full stop or anything or feel like the need to always add in subclauses or random words like aforementioned or slip in a random quote from a random judge so you have to re-adapt to another moron's writing style trying to say something simple disguised in verbosity and big words and clunky legal principles.

Sorry guys, just trying to show you things aren't that bad for you people who aren't doing Arts and law. #fml #overwhelmedbyreadings #kms

Haha you'll be fine! :). And that sounds really interesting xD. Are you doing an engineering/commerce double degree ?

Ahh a friend who does arts showed me his assignment and it was so complicated, uni is definitely a big step from year 12 I reckon, for all my subjects except for bio we've just jumped to a new level! Which is exciting in a way but hard to adapt too haha

I haven't understood a thing in Chemistry since we started the year. It's literally the driest, most boring subject I've ever done and I honestly can't wait to be done with it. I'm quite on the fence with Calculus, the content itself is rather fun and straightforward but the GOD DAMN ASSIGNMENTS ugh I might just go bald at the end of semester from ripping off all my hair out of frustration.

But we all survived VCE together so we'll all survive Uni together just the same  ;D

This! Let's do this! xD

Definitely less stressful tho. There is no 'ATAR' at the end of the year, no 'high achievers list'. We just get a mark out of a 100, and we keep these marks to ourselves. I like that!!

This, 110% this. There's no pressure, no limited amount of people getting a good mark and no need to sabotage anyone else's marks ! And people aren't weirdly competitive. It's nice :)
