All required study scores in VTAC preferences are raw, not scaled  : )

I think you can get in so long as you take the methods-level maths unit as a corequisite (MTH1010). I recommend you contact the university for more information (N.B. They might not get back to you until Jan 2, the university is closed at the moment :) ).

Interesting. Do you know if that is for all applicants (regardless of whether or not they took methods) or only those that get very close to a 25?

Sorry mate, no idea! Hopefully someone else here or from the university can better answer your question. Good luck!

Itll be any applicant regardless of ss. The only reason unis have minimum ss is because a lot of the core units of the degree requires assumed knowledge taught in vce methods (it's not there as a barrier to entry to preclude students who didnt do methods). The maths course provided by the poster above is a "bridging course" designed to teach students the exact same concepts covered in vce.

Just sent an email to the faculty of bus/eco to ask. Don't think a response would come soon as we are now in the holiday period (the site says they're back 2nd jan) but will post back with the answer if I get one!

If you can in fact enter the BComm without methods, provided you take the bridging unit, I would be very happy.

edit: found something interesting about the melbourne BComm in my browsing:
