Psychology study score

Hey, this is really bugging me. Considering how badly I did on the methods exam today (yeah, I know a lot of people found it easy, but it really is not my forte), I need as many marks/points/whatever for my other study scores as I can get.

So if I averaged 97.5/100 for all of my SACs in Psych., and got an A on the mid-year, what study score would I be looking at if I got a high A / low A+ in the end-of-year exam?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks :)

well... i got around 94/95 for sacs, and A+ on mid year... just aced end of year and im hoping for around 45-48...but i think thats a bit pessmistic
because our dux last yera got 100% sacs, A+ on midyear, A on end of year, and she got a 47...

So id say youre looking at around 42-45

I don't mean to sound harsh but you are not going to get over 40 with an A on mid-year. Getting all A+ can give you anywhere between 38-50, so an A will not get you over 40

Haha, that's okay. I just wanted to know what I'd get realistically so I could put it all into perspective. Thanks for that :)

Woah I just read your last post properly and realised you said the girl got A+A+A for a 47. That cannot possibly be true. I got A+A+A+ for a 46

it was 2005, not 2006. i was wrong about the year.
does that make a diffreence?
otherwise, im only repeating what my psych teacher said.

oh, and i know you didnt read the last post properly, because then this converstaion wouldnt have stareted.

It depends on what the numerical value of those grades were though. I'd guess that her marks were something like 100 (A+) 100 (A+) 89 (A), whereas yours might've been 100 (A+) 94 (A+) 95 (A+) or something along those lines.

Hm I guess. Would 89 get you an A though? Guess it depends on the exam

http://www.vcaa.vic.edu.au/vce/statistics/2006/gradeassess/vce_psychology_ga06.pdf

89% would get an A+ in exam 1
90% would get an A+ for SACs
87%~ would get you an A+ in exam 2.

As you said, it depends on the exam and subject, but the general idea of it is still the same. You get get an A and still get a high study score, so long as that A is high and you make up for it in the other graded assessments.

It's possible, a girl at my school got 43 with A as mid-year.

For psych? Yeah must be because of what PMB said. My bad. You'd have to almost get 100% on end-of-year though
