Woo! No UMAT for me also, no need for it. :D
...as Walkec said, all the best for those who are doing it!

Monash Open Day (Clayton) is this coming Sunday... there is so much to do. Trying to fit all the presentations in for so many different faculties and at least there's a "Open Day Planner" available on the website which lets you organise your day. It also seems that most of the faculties are doing BBQs! free food!

I went to Monash, La Trobe and Melb Uni Open Days (cbf'd with RMIT haha) and honestly learnt sooooo much. Deadset, if you have the time, do it. Monash by far interested me the most, friendliest people and amazing facilities. But hey UoM had free sausages  ::) ::) ::)

Probably just me, but I severely dislike the idea of attending open days for universities...

E.g. anything can happen with me in terms of performance in SACs & Exams, and if one is all of a sudden nostalgic about a particular uni. and/or course, alas fails to get accepted, then the world seemingly falls like pieces of dominoes.

I am also way too introverted just to be roaming around people I don't know; whilst I look forward to studying my interests predominately in philosophy, journalism, history, professional writing and business, the social side will be a monumental barrier.

I also have no idea what ATAR I will acquire, if any, which increases the difficulties of the conscience tenfold.

After giving me such great feedback for my Lit creative via PM and an addition +1 to bump me to a 50 respect, I think you're my new favourite person on AN DJALogical.

Hi everyone! Just a quick question for anyone doing psychology!

For my folio SAC on learning at school one of the activities was a video of a woman overcoming her fear of birds and feathers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMZ5o2uruXY
I was wondering whether this classifies as gradual exposure or flooding? My teacher can't tell me and all my friends have different answers!

Thanks in advance! :)

Hey
It may be better if you post this question on the psychology thread. In that way, more people including those who have already completed VCE, may be able to help you
Good Luck on your sac :)

id say it was flooding, because she is immediately confronted with the stimulus, if it was gradual exposure they would start with images, or video, then bring out the feather. Try to find a video of gradual exposure for something like spiders or snakes and youll see how its different, but im not 100%

i got a 41 in psych btw (just so you know im not some random)
