So how are all our exams looking like ? :P

I've got two on the 10th, one on the 12th and my breadth on the 23rd. Still have an assignment to go (due tomorrow, just finished it), so basically the gap between no assignments/lectures and exams is like only 12 days for me!

I remember in year 12 we finished the course+ all sacs one month early. I was complaining heaps because one month before 5 exams didn't sound like much time. But uni 12 days xD!
2013-2014:| VCE
2015-2018:| Bachelor of Science (Neuroscience) @ UoM
2019-X:| Doctor of Dental Surgery (discontinued)
2019 -2021:| Master of Physiotherapy

Currently: Physiotherapist working at a musculoskeletal clinic. Back pain, sore neck, headaches or any other pain limiting your study? Give me a PM (although please do see your personal health professional first!)

Any questions related to pathways towards studying dentistry or physiotherapy? Gimmi a PM!

Hahaha, yep, the pace is definitely much quicker at uni !

My life has basically fallen apart overnight. Courses, assignments, lovers, friends, exams and hurdles, other random bs.. you name it, some shit is happening. Seriously, what am I even living for right now -.-

I'm super screwed for exams and equivalent, really don't know what to do right now. I really wish I had taken a gap year this year -.-

Hope everyone else is coming along well though, or at least better than me !

Naww guy just remember that everyone is finding it hard. I know some people who got really high ATARS just last year and they admit its more challenging.

Couple more weeks to go lets put in the work and get what we deserve :P.

And hey, we got through VCE together ... lets get through uni together as well ;)

Well I hope you find happiness and fulfillment in whatever you decide to do next, whether it is to continue Uni or to do something else  ;D

damn, if only my semester was even half as exciting/dramatic/eventful as that. It was just uni --> study --> home --> repeat for me. Couldn't attend any Uni social events because I don't have my Ps and I live quite far so going out at night on a weekday wouldn't be the best choice :/

Personally, I don't think I've completely adjusted yet. I'm still exploring different study methods and finding close friends to make but I'm sure I'll get there eventually. I'm not expecting any impressive results this semester, but hopefully it won't be too bad because I want good enough grades to be able to go on exchange  :P

HAHAHA the excitement my friend, the excitement.. never a dull moment over here ;)

You have a great attitude mate, I hope your uni life comes together really well for you !

What sort of grades do you need ? Apparently transfers need like a distinction average, so hopefully exchange would be similar :)

For exchange, aim for H1 , since most good unis on the list are very competitive. (esp since you are doing biomed which means you will be competing with sci kids, exchange for arts/environments tend to be easier)
On another note, I'm absolutely screwed, was aiming for a decent GPA now I just want to pass hahaha.
That being said, this semester been pretty exciting, loving the uni environment.

^Same here. I'm not too concerned about my grades since this semester is only worth around 4% of my WAM, but it's an entirely different story if I fail.

Does anyone know what they're thinking of majoring in yet?

At the moment I'm thinking of either Micro+Immuno, Pathology, Physiology or Biotechnology. Hopefully I'll be able to make a more informed decision after getting a better taste of these areas after my 2nd year Biomed subjects.

How about you?

How do you know how much each unit is worth ?

Hahaha yeah, same issue with failing ! Plus the extra hecs debt is really not needed

..never mind, for some reason I thought first year was only worth around 10% of grade. Fuck. /wrists.

Shit, does that mean every year is weighted equally towards GPA/WAM?

nope first year is worth less than second yr and third. I think third year is worth like half your GPA o.O fun times ahead...
