Title: Photosynthesis inputs and outputs
Post by: Stick on March 24, 2013, 11:50:25 am
For cellular respiration, it seems important to know the exact quantities of each output for each stage, but the numbers don't seem to be quite as obvious for photosynthesis. Is it alright just to know the inputs and outputs for each stage, and not their relative amounts? :)

If your talking about ATP and NADPH, I'm pretty sure you don't need to know their amounts. You don't need to know it for cellular respiration either, bar the amounts of ATP produced at each stage.

Yeah I knew I had to know the amounts for cellular respiration, but not for photosynthesis (just know the general inputs and outputs). Alright, thanks for confirming. :)

Do we need to know about chlorophyll A and B,etc. and also about leaf structure? Or is it enough just to know about the inputs and outputs of photosynthesis and the chloroplast structure?
