China Aid/Economic Power

My examples for Aid are irrelevant due to my teacher using the oil in Angola as an example, I can't find any other straight forward examples for aid as an FPI, anyone got any ideas?

And Economic power. What examples can I use for China's economic power?
Could I use...
  • Taiwan's increased interdependence on China?
  • Dumping products onto the market for low prices to manipulate currency?
  • Being the largest exporter since 2010?

-will be posting my notes after my last exams if anyone is interested-

Not sure if you have these examples
  • 2009 China provided a series of aid measures ($39 million donated) to Laos, Cambodia and Burma. Poorest states in South East Asia, assisting the achievement of Peaceful Rise
  • Chequebook diplomacy - $520 million in loans to 8 pacific island states recognising PRC
  • Between 2006-10, China invested $10.2 billion in infrastructure projects in Tibet to quell separatist claims (not foreign policy, still good for economic power)
  • Being the largest trade partner with US decreases likelihood of armed conflict. World's factory and world's market.
